Des Gâteaux et du Pain is one of my favorite pastries shops in Paris. The pastries created by the chef Claire DAMON are all simple and elegant in looks, yet rich and delicate in flavours. What's most impressive to me is that she works effortlessly in ingredients and flavours that you see in her shop during each season several representations of a certain fruit (like rhubarb in June, for example), and she revisits her classic creations each year, rendering a different interpretation.
